Clients reviews about General's Hardwood Flooring

When we closed on our new house, we quickly realized the floors were in much worse condition than we originally thought. We called Generals Hardwood Flooring, and they came out the very same day to give us a quote. Just three days later, they had our beautiful new vinyl floors installed, and we were finally able to start unpacking. The quality of their work, outstanding customer service, and incredibly fast turnaround exceeded our expectations. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Generals Hardwood Flooring to anyone looking for quality flooring and excellent service! ~ jason j

Christmas Miracle! We purchased a home just before Christmas which was in desperate need of a remodel including dated hardwood floors. It was Thursday night and we were moving in the following Wednesday before Christmas. We had someone scheduled to refinish the floors who had a family emergency and had to cancel. I scrambled to find someone who could get the floors done in time for them to cure before we moved in. I contacted Scott at General's and they were able to start work the following afternoon, worked through the weekend, and had everything done and ready to move in before the following Wednesday! The crew who came in could not have been more knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. All of this at a price that was MORE than reasonable. And the floors look incredible! Could not be happier with their work. I can't thank these guys enough and I would recommend them to anyone looking for hardwood floor professionals. ~ Nathan S

I contacted General's for a estimate via the website. Scott's response was immediate & he came over the very same day. We decided to wait "a few months" to have the floors refinished but it ended up being about 6 months yet Scott still honored his estimate price. We've been in our home for 18 years. When we bought it, the floors were a major disaster; stains, scratches, very worn but we waited to refinish due to 2 elderly dogs. The prepping before & afterwards is grueling but the refinishing itself took 3 days. Scott's crew was on the job by 8AM each day & they worked non-stop. They did an excellent job! Our floors are absolutely beautiful! We decided on natural, no stain with a satin finish. We had a couple of hiccups along the way (to be expected) but unknown to us, Scott graciously decided to give us a beautiful higher end finish. *The pics I've attached are before & during the process. The lighting is different in some rooms and without natural light. Highly recommend. ~ LJMNY

Scott and his crew were beyond professional. Kept us up to date with timelines. This is the second time we used them for a project in our house and we couldn’t be happier. We used them 2 years ago for a different part of the house and the floors still look beautiful. They were again very accommodating to our needs with small children and pets in the house. ~ Graham R

General's Hardwood Flooring did an amazing job ripping out about 1200 square feet of tile, sub-floor then did an amazing job installing exotic tiger wood hard wood flooring (very hard wood). The workmanship was amazing and the floor looks like it was the original! Highly, highly recommend General's Hardwood Flooring if you ever need their services! They even helped me secure the product! ~ Bill G

Very responsive and was able to get me in much quicker than any other hardwood restoration company. Had a few minor issues that were corrected immediately upon request. I had people tell me my floors couldn't be restored they were so destroyed but they look amazing now and they also fixed all the missing pieces in the floor! Highly recommend for your hardwood project. ~ Colin C

We hired General's to strip the paint off and refinish our hard woods floor in our family room. Our floors are original to the house built in 1840's our hard wood floors and were so beat up and had layers paint and scott and his crew worked their majic. they look amazing now. We couldn't believe they could look so good. I highly recommed general's. ~ Kathy L

Scott from General’s excellent, responsive, and regularly made himself and his crew available in a very timely fashion. They refinished my original hardwood floors and stairs, and installed flooring to match the original. The finish looks amazing and we are thrilled with the whole house results. Scott and Alex did a wonderful job installing a red oak floor in our dining room to match our foyer. They were both communicative, considerate, and highly professional. The floors came out beautiful, looking like they were always there. The space was left clean with promises to return if we are ever unsatisfied. Highly recommend! ~ Lindsey B

Scott came in the same day we called him to schedule an estimate and was super friendly. I just came home to see his work and it's amazing!
